About the event

Have you always wanted to truly understand the Cobra Roll?

In this immersive workshop, we dive deep into the mechanics, magic, and mastery of Cobra β€” one of the signature transitions in Inside Flow. More than just a beautiful movement, Cobra is a powerful expression of spinal intelligence, breath coordination, and controlled strength.

This is where theory becomes embodied practice.

And this workshop is not only for Inside Flow practitioners.

The principles you will learn apply to any dynamic yoga practice β€” Vinyasa, Power Yoga, or any style where spinal movement, backbends, and fluid transitions are part of your flow.

What you’ll explore:

βž– The anatomy of Cobra β€” spine, shoulders, pelvis, arms, legs, and feet

βž– Thoracic mobility & deep postural muscle activation

βž– How to segment your spine for smooth, wave-like motion

βž– The mechanics behind spinal waves (standing & prone)

βž– Energy loops β€” how to move your spine efficiently and safely

βž– Strength & flexibility techniques to support fluid transitions

βž– Hands-on adjustments to refine muscle engagement and alignment

We will break down the Cobra Wave step by step, understanding how segmental spinal motion β€” especially through the thoracic spine β€” creates smooth, powerful, and controlled transitions.

You’ll apply these principles to accessible variations of familiar postures such as High Lunge and Wild Thing Wave, building stability, rotational control, and confidence in your movement.

Move intelligently.

Flow confidently.

Let your spine lead the way. 🐍
