Body alignment begins with the proper foundation.
Time & Location
06 May 2023, 16:00 – 18:00
Strassen, 184 Rte d'Arlon, 8010 Strassen, Luxembourg
About the event
In this workshop, we will take a closer look at various asanas and Inside Flow specialties and how to align your body, so you can create a healthy and sustainable flow practice.
The focus will be on your feet and hand alignment first, to set a foundation, then we will cover the shoulders and hips.
You will learn the basic alignment for a safer Vinyasa Flow practice, as well as Inside Flow signature movements like “cobra-wave”, “wild thing”, “side plank”, “flying warrior” and more, and will focus on smooth transitions from one asana to the next.
As we transition from asana to asana at a faster pace, it is important to know how to keep our bodies safe while moving.
Aligning your body in an anatomically correct and healthy way, will help you find better balance and stability in your practice, support you to flow with more ease and minimize the risk of injuries.
At the end of this workshop we will use the previously learned alignment techniques to flow on beat.
This workshop is suitable for everyone, yoga beginners, inside flow lovers and anyone who wants to build a strong flow foundation or learn more about alignment. Get ready to create a unique flow experience for your body, mind and heart.
What is Inside Flow?
Inside Flow is an evolution of Vinyasa Yoga and a powerful moving meditation. Your movement is guided by your breath, synchronized to the music, and each movement is synchronized with the inhalation and exhalation. Each Class is designed to flow with eclectic modern music, with the grand finale of the class being a perfectly sequenced flow to a special song. Based on the yogic philosophy SPANDA - the pulsation of nature - we embody the Spanda with our breath and our movement.
The class starts and you are in the Flow, you transition and move from one asana to another. The aim is to harmonize body and mind and to achieve a meditative state through the combination of music, breath and movement.
